Who we are
Zawame Travel is a Nairobi-based tour operator specialising in private safaris across Kenya and northern Tanzania. We are a dedicated team of experienced guides, drivers and safari planners, with extensive knowledge of the destinations and wildlife areas we explore.
Our safaris are operated using comfortable safari vehicles and professional driver-guides who accompany you throughout your journey, from airport pickup to your final drop-off. Every itinerary is carefully planned and presented day by day, giving you a clear understanding of your route, accommodation locations and travel times before you make your booking.
We focus on creating well-organised, personalised safari experiences that combine local expertise, comfort and unforgettable wildlife encounters.
Our own guides and vehicles
Travel with our dedicated, experienced Zawame driver-guides, who stay with you throughout your safari, in comfortable pop-up roof 4x4 Land Cruisers equipped with charging sockets, cooler boxes and binoculars.

How we work

Tell us your dates and what you want to see
By the form, by email or on WhatsApp. A rough idea is enough.

We send a day-by-day route and a quote
Usually within one working day. Lodges named, drive times shown, price itemised.

Change anything
Add nights, swap a park, upgrade a lodge. We revise until it is right.

Confirm with a deposit
The balance is due 14 days before you arrive. Vouchers are issued on full payment.
- 5
We meet you at the airport
And stay with you until we drop you back. Anything that comes up on the way, we handle.
